Forum rules

There's no FAQ for now, just basic guidelines.

• SPAM is not welcome on our forums (obviously). Any attempt could result in the user ID and/or originating IP banned completely from our website.

• Try to keep your posts on topic. If they are completely unrelated to the topic that you're replying to, then it's better to start a new topic.

• HTML is not permitted, except for whatever our editor produces. But that's OK, we'll parse it and throw away the garbage, if any.

• You can't post anonymously—you have to be logged in. It's easy to get an account, if you don't have one. Please fill in your profile with real values—you're likely to be ignored if you're using an Yahoo email address, your name is “John Doe” and your company named “ACME”.

• Be friendly. If you can't (I might perfectly understand you) have a good reason to be unfriendly. Flames are OK as long as they are justified and on topic.

• Understand that our forums are public. Don't post confidential or copyrighted data unless you have the full legal right to do it. We can't and don't assume any responsibility for the consequences of your actions.
